Although we haven't done so in the past, below we
are passing on a request from the UCLA Faculty Center for tax-deductible
donations. The Faculty Center has made
considerable progress, both in reaching an accord with the powers-that-be at
the University with regard to its physical house and in putting its fiscal house in order over the past year or
so. Apparently, for various reasons, the new accord must be approved at the UC
level, but that seems likely to occur.
