The higher ed portion including UC starts on page 43. But like the overall budget, it is hard to get a sense of what in aggregate it means to UC.
As we predicted, the governor's proposal to take $13 million from the UC labor centers is not accepted.
Some of this opaqueness is due to the work-in-progress status of the budget in the legislature. And some may be deliberate.
