The Regents' agenda for their upcoming meetings is now posted. It's interesting to note that one committee is NOT listed as part of the sessions: the Investments Committee. As blog readers will know, there has been controversy over the chief investment officer's $4.5 billion bailout of the Blackstone Real Estate Investment Trust (BREIT) using pension and endowment funds. Last July, and the July before that, the Investments Committee was also omitted from the agenda. Nonetheless, the omission this time is convenient given the BREIT affair, although there may be public comments about the BREIT matter anyway.
