The UCLA Faculty Club closed and was renovated during the pandemic. It has now reopened for special events and will soon begin regular lunchtime service. Yesterday, the Emeriti Association held its annual Arts and Crafts show and yours truly took advantage of the opportunity to look around:
Note: I did sneak down to the lower level bar area, but that space is not finished.

Wow, they painted over all the beautiful wood of the ceiling in the main dining room. Someone probably thought it was a "fresh, clean look" but what they achieved instead was a hospital cafeteria.
