For the record...

...we should have noted a week ago that the Regents met in a closed-door session on February 3rd to discuss selection of a new UC president to replace Michael Drake.

But with all the things going on in the world, we didn't.

So now we have. And since the meeting was behind closed doors, all we know is that as of February 3rd, they hadn't yet selected a candidate. Maybe they did at that meeting. Maybe they didn't. 

There were actually two back-to-back meetings:
