A research unit at Georgetown has calculated various student graduate economic rates-of-return measures for a large sample of universities. It computes the net present value (NPV) of a student "investment" in a bachelors degree, as above for UC campuses. Note: These kinds of calculations require large grains of salt. For example, there will likely be large variations across occupations/majors from a given university. But if you are curious, the report is at:
