On June 4, 2025, the White House issued a new Presidential Proclamation affecting entry into the United States for citizens of nineteen countries. We encourage members of our international community to review the announcement and accompanying fact sheet issued by the White House, and to reconsider upcoming international travel if their home country is listed. This proclamation is effective at 12:01 am eastern daylight time on June 9, 2025.
We recognize that this announcement may be confusing or distressing. Please know that you are valued and supported at UCLA. Our international students, scholars, faculty, and staff are a vital part of what makes UCLA exceptional. The Dashew Center team is closely reviewing the proclamation to understand how it may impact members of our international community.
