You surely know not to respond or even click on this email

There are lots of variations of such malicious messages. In all cases, you will be sorry if you do anything other than delete them. One version seems to contain an invitation to an event that looks genuine. But when you click on the invitation, it innocently asks you for your email password. Do I have to tell you what happens if you provide the password?
