Do I sense a computer SNAFU? - Part 2

Back in late July, yours truly reported that a program at UCLA known as ASCEND had been paused, a seeming SNAFU in the design of a computer system for purchasing and maybe other functions.*

Yours truly is not in the loop on such matters, but apparently the Regents are. And according to documentation for today's meeting, ASCEND - whatever it is - is still not ascending. It is reported as still "paused."*
