Uncool - Part 2

We noted yesterday that there seems to be a problem with air conditioning on campus which was originally supposed to be fixed yesterday. Apparently, the problem - whatever it is - continues, although a coping mechanism has been implemented. From an email last night:

We have received notice from Facilities that the HVAC system will shut down tonight at 6:00 p.m. and be back on at 4:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. This effort is to conserve as much chilled water as possible, so we can still have cooling during the heat of the day tomorrow.

 

During this time there will be limited air flow and increased temperatures.
