The In-Memoriam Online Collection

Did you know that there is available an online collection of In Memoriam statements for faculty and administrators covering the period 1928-2001 for the UC campuses. It can be searched by name or campus and has both text and photographs, although not all statements have photographs. 

Not every former faculty member who died in that period is listed; only those for whom In Memoriam statements were composed. For example, J. Robert Oppenheimer (1904-1967), a former Berkeley faculty member who became famous as research director of the Manhattan Project, is not listed.
