Might UCLA Play Ball with the VA?

Maybe
As noted in prior blog posts, UCLA has been renting a baseball stadium on the nearby VA property and - since that activity doesn't directly benefit veterans - it has been on the losing side of a lawsuit which seemed likely to result in eviction.

An item on the LAObserved website suggests that UCLA might be able to retain access to the stadium by a) paying a market-level rent for the facility and b) engaging in activities that benefit veterans. We will see.

For details, see http://www.laobserved.com/boyarsky/2015/05/reprieve_for_ucla_baseball_sta.php
